Sinceray Jackson was born and raised in Chicago and became a resident of Indianapolis, Indiana in 2008. In 2010, Sinceray volunteered with Indiana Black Pride, Inc. and was appointed to the Board of Directors as the IT Administrator in 2011. Currently, she has moved into the new role of President for the newly named organization of Black Equity Indy. She has prior community work experience with Windy City Black Pride, International Federation of Black Prides (IBFP), and Beta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. Sinceray graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Management from Robert Morris University-Illinois in Chicago, IL in April 2003. With over 18 years of experience, Sinceray has worked in various industries including: Information Technology- (Non-Profit & For Profit Sector), Operations Management-Restaurant, Retail, & Advertising, and the Music Industry-(Record Label- Business Owner Management Executive). Sinceray is passionate about empowering the Black LGBT community through education and community service. She believes that every person has the opportunity to be successful, and that possibility has to be nurtured by community involvement, education, guidance, and planning.
