Requiem of a Dream: Reflection, Celebration and Rejuvenation. A World AIDS Day Event

  • Atlas Performing Arts Center 1333 H Street Northeast Washington, DC, 20002 United States (map)

Join Black Leaves Dance Company, Center for Black Equity and the Washington Health Institute for a journey through the intimate stories of those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS as we tell their stories of struggle, hope, and perseverance; and how their faith sustained them. There will also be a candlelight vigil where we will remember those we have lost to the epidemic. In addition, there will be a health expo and reception, allowing attendees to get tested and grab info on several resources.

A night of fellowship, music, dancing, fashion, and spoken word, a night sure to be a blessing to all who attend.
